Four Ontario public institutions, representing more than $10 million in food purchasing power, are collaborating on a shared vision to get more local food into their facilities. A 10% increase in spending on local food by the cohort would represent a $1 million dollar investment in Ontario's food system.

Public Purse Procurement (3P) Mentorship Program will support a cohort of selected facilities for the the year until February 2015:

  • Health Sciences North, Sudbury
  • Queen's University, Kingston
  • Humber College, Toronto
  • Sunnyside Seniors' Services, Region of Waterloo
