The power of prototyping, iteration, ethnographic research and user testing is invaluable. As a practitioner of thoughtful design, I look to define a problem first. Design is really just the tip of the iceberg which emerges. I use design to solve critical problems in society by collaborating with diverse stakeholders that can lend new insight, and fresh thinking. Redesigning how we think is critical and using creative tools can help us to reframe our thinking and hopefully emerge with a different and more strategic outcome.
